Hi!
This is only the 2nd time I've submitted a LO for this blog but when I saw the challenge, I knew I had to share this mini-album I made a couple of weeks ago. Great timing, 'no? It was the first time I made one. It's a 4x7 mini-album. I designed the pages digitally in Photoshop, printed, cut and glued to cardboard. The journaling prompts were typed in but I asked DS to write his answers himself. It is after all about his year at first grade.

Materials:
- Photoshop CS2
- digital papers & elements from Back 2 School collab kit at ScrapArtist.com
- matte photo paper

I am Joy Tanjuakio, currently living in Southern California with my husband and 4 kids(1 boy - 7 yo, 3 girls - 5 yo, 3yo & 1 yo). I've been digiscrapping on and off since mid-2005. I've never paper scrapped before as I found the process too intimidating but I've started to dabble in some hybrid projects recently so I've been getting my hands dirty as well. In scrapbooking, I discovered my creative side that I did not know exist! LOL. I blog at Shine Like Stars. My most recent LO's can be seen at my ScrapArtist gallery where I

Hi Joy, what a great idea to let your son fill in the blanks. I'm sure he loves looking through the album.
ReplyDeletei love the way you reversed the print on your back page! very cool idea! the blue colored mini is really a dear treasure!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a fab idea... letting your son write down his own answer. I love it! I can't wait for my daughter to start learning how to write so I can do the same. Sadly, it'll still be quite a wait considering my daughter is only 2-yrs, 9 mos right now :(
ReplyDeleteWow your mini album is impressive galing. I never thought it is in digital you did it very creative.
