This layout is an attempt to prove that midnight blue and coral pink works after a fledgling gay designer told me that my color scheme is not nice. I am not sure if it works though, I think it does. This layout is also an attempt to take a breather from a very stressful month at work. I was actually cutting and pasting while waiting for updates from an officemate. What one would do for scrapbooking! The kit is hello doily from aprintaday. When I saw the colors, the tea-stained papers, flowers and the birds, I knew it was perfect for my motif. I printed my journaling on one of the tags that came with the kit and I hand-cut the bird and flower images that came with the kit.
Journaling:
I want to kiss you
the way raindrops
kiss the flowers -
slowly, sweetly.
I want to love you
slowly, sweetly.
I want to love you
the way the earth
loves the sky -
constantly, completely.
