I wish I may, I wish I might ...

... have the wish I have tonight!

Hanna says, KAYA!

I’m back with my first digital layout for 2008! I have more wishes but I had fun making these ones as specific as possible.

Journaling:

3 Wishes for 2008

To de-clutter our bedroom and finally have a special space for my kutkots.

To organize all my journals, blog entries and photos from my 2007 trip into a publish-worthy compilation.

To be able to have a long vacation with my husband so we can get pregnant and give birth to twins before Christmas!

Hi my name is Hanna, 25 years old, married but no kids yet. I am still recovering from a 6-month break from scrapbooking (www.bananaspinworld.blogspot.com). I am currently busy with de-cluttering our room, locating my scrap stuff, and hunting for a job that will put my creativity and love for writing into good use. Playing to Win

Hanna says, KAYA!

Fresh from a very inspiring experience as a volunteer writer for a youth camp, I decided to scrap some of the photos and journal about a very valuable learning - not only for the kids, but for me as well!

The Education and Livelihood Skills Alliance (ELSA) Youth Leadership Camp is Ayala Foundation's contribution to the USAID Funded ELSA program. The camp I volunteered in was held in Datu Odin Sinsuat, Shariff Kabunsuan, Cotabato City. There were a total of 48 high school students from all over ARMM who attended.

Journaling Reads:
Playing to win is not about beating someone; it's about going as far as you can, using all that you've got.
It's seeing change as a challenge.
It's taking risks and getting out of your comfort zone.
It's letting go of old patterns and behaviors. It's breaking through fear.
Playing to win is learning, growing, and continuously improving.

Materials Used:
Patterned paper and heart embellishment from "Tomboy" digital kit by Angie Briggs from www.scrapartist.com. Edited using Photoshop CS.

About Me:

Hanna a.k.a bananaspin. I am 25 years old - happily married to my navy man Sam. I am very much into social development work and I am currently on a quest to finding out where I can contribute the most and knowing what I'll do for the rest of my life :-) I love writing, travel, photography, scrapbooking and the Internet. Perfect Match

Hanna says, KAYA!

Journalling:
"We absolutely loved our caketoppers ! They were so adorable and unique that we kept them in the freezer until they fell apart. Too bad they were not made to last - good thing these photos preserved them forever! They did not just look good , but tasted yummy as well!"

Materials/Techniques Used:
Digital Elements - "Spring Kit" by Shannon Jackson (freedigitalscrapbooking.com) , Fonts - Alba Matter & CK Easy Goin'; Layout using Photoshop CS

About ME:

Hanna a.k.a "bananaspin". 25-year old newlywed. I call myself a "single wife" , my husband being out on assignment most of the time. I miss him, but the upside to this is I can scrap all I want on my free time! I love travel, coffee, good food, photography, the beach and water, frogs, butterflies, hearts, colored papers, scrapbooking, blogging, crafting. I have been a sinful scrapper since 4th grade and with the help of local scrapbooking groups I am slowly updating my techniques :-) I often find myself doodling and sketching in the middle of the day or (gasp!) in the middle of boring meetings!
