Strike a Pose

Marian says KAYA!

I usually print my journalling on the computer. Recently though I've been using my handwriting. I also download a lot of free digi kits but haven't been doing any digi LOs. So this is an opportunity to use at least some digi elements.

For this challenge I used a photo of my favorite subject - my granddaughter. She has been quite cooperative with the camera as you can see.

Journalling: (on the lined beige paper) Look Sophia
Smile for Lola
Pose beside Mommy
Make arte
One more Sophia
Great shot
Perfect

(on the heart tag) You are Lola's perfect model!
Sophia Jan 2009

Materials: Cardstock - DCWV; Patterned paper - American Crafts, Collage Press and Making Memories; Stickers - MM & Collage Press; Heart tag MM; Flowers - Prima; Bling and button from my stash; Scallop journalling sheet MM
Digi elements: frame with flowers from Michelle Coleman Wonderful kit.
Journalling in the beige lined paper - font P22 Hopper Josephine

Techniques: Cutting and layering, Adhered butterfly stickers to red paper then cut out, punched the borders using Fiskars Threading Water punch, printed the digi frame with corner flowers on a transparency

About Me:
I am a simple scrapper and it's difficult for me to add too many elements on my pages.

Love the layout Marian! Such a cute photo of Sophia. And I love that digi-frame! Did you make that yourself or did you download it? I'm also looking for nice digital frames. :D Thanks for playing along.

Hi Alby. the digi frame is from Michelle coleman's Woderful kit. I think it was a free download from Creating Keepsakes. I really should use more digi elements. thanks for this challenge.

Ms. marian! Napaka cute ni Sophia! Nagmana sa lola ha :-) sarap pisilin! And love the simple journaling, dapat nga sinusulat yung mga short quips pag kinukunan ng pics ang mga bata. Kaso sa akin "Josh! stop moving! haika dito! "hehe

seriously, lovely LO and the colors are very fresh and sweet :-)

Thanks Marian! Hmmm...I have a few Michelle Coleman digital kits. I'll check if I have that frame. Otherwise, I'll just have to look for that freebie.

Your granddaughter is a star...I miss my niece, she looks like her. The overlay is fantastic! It made your LO so unique.
