Kaya 21 - Things Remembered

HAPPY NEW YEAR! Hope you all have a wonderful holidays!

Since it’s only the beginning of the New Year, I can still remember the last week of December 2008, when the media was full of articles and TV segments recalling the past year’s events. I thought the challenge should be simple, but the theme, mature.

So, your mission is to search through your closets, attics or wardrobe and find some old relic or treasure which brings to mind, cherished memories that brought joy and wonder to your life. This reminiscing is not confined to any particular year and hopefully will encourage conversation with family members and help you conjure up some vivid representation for your layout.

Guidelines for this challenge:

1) TITLE: should be the item(s) you found or in your possession. It could be things that are very old or just something that is precious and wonderful to you. Examples: Clothing, vases, figurines, pictures, frames, pottery, jewelry, etc.
- My Grandma’s Wedding Gown
- Great Grandpa’s Cool Wig (He he he )

2) PHOTO: should be two(2) of any size, current photos, one photo of the item(s) and one photo of you with the item(s).

3) JOURNALING: must be visible, writing the 5W’s (Who, When, What, Where, Why) story of the item(s).

4) LAYOUT: maybe 12 x 12 or 8 ½ x 11, traditional or digital.

5) 3-D: You may use only photos or the actual item. Bonus RAK for the scrapper who can creatively include an actual memorabilia in her layout.

6) Layouts must be new and made for this challenge.

7) Deadline for this challenge is on January 30, 2009, 11:59 PM, Philippine time.

One lucky scrapper will receive this lot by random drawing:

And a bonus RAK for using actual memorabilia.

All entries adhering to the challenge guidelines, except for the winners of the past two challenges, will be eligible for the RAK draw. Scrappers who use actual memorabilia will be eligible for a bonus RAK draw, except if that scrapper's name is already drawn for the major RAK.

And… I have surprise prizes for the first three early birds: Ummm…something yummy!?

Good Luck and Happy Scrappy New Year to all!
