Net

Tessah says, KAYA!

I can easily relate to this challenge.

Journaling Reads:
Weird as it may seem I have this mosquito net syndrome. Yes, meaning since I was a child, as early as 5 years old I guess I can't sleep without my net. I bring it wherever I go. I have a lot of fun memories with this net. Back then, My dad was so mad at me and thought that my behavior was so odd that he tried so many times to stop me from bringing my net everywhere. Imagine, even if I am just eating or resting at sofa I bring this net. My brothers and sisters played a lot of jokes with me once we were young. Till now I am a married girl already, I still use my net. And I am so happy that my husband, one of my family members now, shared funny thoughts with my net as he also laughs at me.

Materials Used:
PPs and Alphas Ribbons; Buttons; Glue; Sandpaper; Stationary for Journaling; And of course my very own net. I made a bouquet out of it to accent the LO.

Techniques Used:
Layering labels and pictures; embellishing; Sanding- I sanded the edges of my kulambo´s (net) picture.

About ME:
Hi. I am Ramintessah Aihara. I am a Filipina who married a Japanese national and now living in Japan. I love reading and making friends. Just last December I was hooked by blogging and knitting. Due to blogging I meet a lof of friends and was introduced to scrapbooking three weeks ago. Since then I was hooked. I found your blog. And I think that it would be a wonderful idea to scrap with my Kabayans. I am really new to scrapping and I am still studying how to design layouts. I'm too excited to join this one since this is my first time to join your blog. And...I'm jut wondering, am I included on the first 3? LOL! Just kidding.

Hi, Tessah! Welcome to Pinoy Scrapbookers!

Love your layout and the story behind it. Can definitely relate 'coz my four-year-old son has been obsessed with a pillow I have had since I was still pregnant with him.

Hope to see you in the Yahoo! group and welcome again! =)

*hugs*
Nina

I love your kulambo story:-) This is a very cute entry!

Reminds me of a friend who always brings along her small pillow - it must be at least 40 years old, and yes, it's the one that noone wants to see or smell:-)hehe.

Gorgeous layout Tessa! And funny journaling too ! makes me smile while reading it! Like Julie's friend, my sister had an obsession with the pillow when she was young.
