And now without further delay here are the winners...
Since I was alone at the office I did the drawing all by myself hehe. I used Excel to print out the names and drew the winners from a plastic cup and I used my handphone to take these photos :)

Hi everyone! I guess I'm the last to submit for this month as it's already 11 in the evening. But I am just to happy to scrap my youngest latest photos. He's 4 1/2 years old now and I just can't wait for his next pasikat again!

Nothing is Too Wonderful to be True
I've never entered a Kaya entry before, I keep missing the deadlines. This time I was determined to make this one, even by the skin of my teeth. Hopefully I'll work up the nerve to join some more.
Journaling:
Nothing is too wonderful to be true
Look at the way the moon behaves.
Look at the way she paints
A silver ribbon on the waves.
One thing I've leanred and I'll share
with you-
Nothing is too wonderful to be true.
Each moment opens like a flower.
The age of miracles comes
Every hour on the hour.
Turn any corner,
There's something new
And nothing is too wonderful
To be true.
If I'm preceived to be
Naive to be the way I am
Let people say I am a silly goof
Is life a plateful? Am I grateful?
Every day I am,
It's an amazing world in which we live
And I've got living proof.
Look at the way the moon behaves.
Look at the way she paints
A silver ribbon on the waves
Leading directly to me and you.
Nothing is too wonderful to be true.

This layout is about my youngest DD, who learned to read from Dr. Seuss books and Princess and Winx Club magazines.

Sadness Is Self Inflicted
This is really a great challenge Marix! I am happy to use what I purchased last Idol Finals. I love the bracket paper from Jenni Bowlin and this is the perfect time to use it! Thanks Marix for this great challenge and yummy prize!
I scrapped my picture that reminds me that Sadness is self inflicted. So I to choose to be happy always because it makes me beautiful each day! :-)
You need not to bother too much about every crappy, shitty occurrences around you.
But then again, you tend to get yourself involved.
Happiness is self induced just the same.
As they say, its just a matter of perspective.
So while you still have the chance to shape your days mood, choose: would you rather be sad or happy?
Life is good.
Life is bad.
You decide.
Materials used:

Starfish Finds
Our little family enjoys traveling and going on adventures whether by car, by plane or by boat. Being in Cagayan de Oro, we have a lot of opportunities to go to the sea or up the mountains. On this day, we decided to go snorkeling in Laguindingan, a municipality just at the outskirts of CDO. The girls enjoyed it so much that they expressed their desires to be marine biologists in the future.
I used Got Sketch? #69 for this layout. Thanks for looking!
Materials:
Paper - American Crafts, My Mind's Eye, Prima, Fancy Pants; Acrylic Flowers - Simply Scrappy, Stickers - American Crafts; Chipboard - Fancy Pants, Staedler Pen, Carl Corner Rounder, Fiskars Lace Border Puncher, Sizzix Doodle Tag Alphabet Dies

About ME:
I am in my mid-thirties, married to my bestfriend, Mier, for 8 years and blessed with three beautiful daughters, Nadine (age 7), Raya (age 4) and Alyssa (1 year). I have been fixing my photos since high school but got really serious (as in using acid free materials) in 2004. I am a self proclaimed scrap addict. Visit me at http://mcastrillo.blogspot.com.
Lucidity
I missed Cookie's altered clock and missed Marian's minibook challenges. But now I am back! Marix' prompt is quite a challenge for me, primarily because all the die cut shaped cardstocks and patterned papers in the market are size 12x12. I am a rebel at 8.5x11. And so I had to improvise, and this is the best I can come up with. But I had fun!
Journaling:
We all experience some moments of clarity, when we hear answers we never thought would come.

You were feeling a bit under the weather today. You caught a cold & yet that didn't stop you from smiling. Been lie-low with traditional now and on digital mostly. Thanks to PC and Adobe at least I can still be relax by doing layouts digitally. Glad I was able to find a perfect kit for this month challenge. Thanks Marix for the challenge.

[Imagine] Halloweeny
I thought it is just perfect to make a Halloween layout and greeting card since all Hallow's Evenin' is just around the corner. This is a picture of my DD dressed in an Egyptian attire. There was a bonfire and Halloween party at one of her friends' backyard [close to an open field, thank goodness!] Thank you, Marix for this challenge! I had fun using my forgotten decorative-edge scissors.
Journaling:
There's not much of a journaling. I did not glue the entire mat [of diamond-patterned paper] so DD can later add her own journaling and hide it back there.
Archiver's black cardstock DCWV orange cardstock; pumpkin cut-outs from a DCWV patterned paper; cut-out leaves and diamond-patterned paper by Deja Views; Provo-Craft Halloween tag; various decorative-edge scissors; foam dots for dimension.

About ME:
I started with traditional scrapbooking and ended up making digital layouts. The primary reason is the bulk of photo albums. I remember hauling boxes of them from one place to another. But my love for making things with my own hands out-weighs digital technology.

This hobby gives me a sense of freedom especially from the distraction known as house work LOL! My kids, my hubby, my friends and workmates inspire me to do better and do more cards and layouts while my finished projects inspire me to buy more stuff (wink, wink).
Say Cheez
After three scrapping challenges where I noticed that my LOs were mostly black, I decided that my next should be my original colorful style. I have this photo (one of my all-time favorites) for sometime now and I'm glad I was able to scrap it for this Kaya Challenge.
For this LO, I drew inspiration from the Cheez Mania Cheeseballs package for my title and color combination. Thanks for looking!

embellishments to make a major statement.....when will this happen? Dream, dream, dream.
Got Milk & You Inspire Me
It's my first time to join your challenge. And second time to join a scrap challenge. I still consider myself a newbie scrapper and haven't really gained the confidence to join challenges. My friend Tna encouraged me to send my LO to you as an entry after seeing it. I am frequently online but only because of work so I really don't get to see what's already happening in the scrappy world. My friends Yoyin, Ann and Tna keep me updated with pretty much everything though when we see each other. They are always the one convincing me to use what I bought and SCRAP SCRAP SCRAP. So here goes nothing.
