Kaya 18 - The Cutting Edge

One of the latest trends in scrapbooking is the use of cardstocks or patterned papers with decorative edges, but such design can easily be adapted with the use of border punches, decorative scissors or even with the ordinary scissors using your own design.

So this month's challenge is to create a traditional or digital layouts (12 x12 or 8.5 x 11) with decorative edges.

One basic rule: All the edges of the layout itself should have decorative edges, but you can add more into your layout as borders or matting in your photos, titles, journaling blocks or other accents. The more, the merrier.

(Optional) Card challenge for traditional LOs only:
I'm a frugal scrapper so I make use of all my scraps as much as I can and the best way is by creating cards! So make use of those scraps and enjoy making cards! All materials used in the card must be scraps from the original layout. You can use any of your tools, techniques, stamps, embossing powders, etc.

Deadline of submissions is on October 30, 2008, 11:59PM

I will have a random drawing for the layout entries and another drawing for the card entries to win a RAK to be announced on October 31, 2008. Special thanks to ScrappersatSG for donating the RAK. I hope you all will find time to join the challenge, kayang-KAYA!
