Ice Cream

Lee says, Kaya!

I know Jenn said a layout about any kind of food, except that the photos have to have been taken during summer. For some reason, my brain interpreted that to be summer foods. Yes, there was a short-circuit somewhere. :-) But, I am happy that this layout is done. I've had the intention to scrap how my KiDS get all excited when they hear the ice cream cart's musical sound since I took this photo a year ago. It brings back memories of my own childhood, except then we had the pleasure of partaking of dirty ice cream from Mamang Sorbetero or ice drop with mongo.

Journaling:

Tan-da-ran...when you hear that musical sound there is no keeping you inside the house. You just gotta have this cold treat.

Materials Used:
CS - Debbie Mumm; PPS - SEI; Punchers - Fiskars; Ribbons - Oriental Trading, Doodlebug; Alphabets - Karen Foster; Eyelets - All About Scrapbooking; Stickers - EK Success; Pen - Zig, American Crafts; Foam - Darice; Adhesive - Saunders.

Technique Used:
Nothing much, but as usual I had difficulty keeping a firm grip on my paper, eyelets and Crop-a-Dile, all at the same time. But I really had fun with the lace and threading water border punches, which were really easy to use. And pretty, too.

About Me:
I have been scrapping for about two years now, and I still continue to enjoy it. I love being creative while at the same time preserving my memories through photos, journals and layouts. You you can learn more about me at my blog.

YOU MADE IT, LEE! :D Heeyyyy, agaw-pansin yang laced border mo ah. Looking at your beautiful LO, you suddenly made me think, "asan na nga ba ang mga eyelet ko ha?" - hehehe. Pag nakita ito ni Alain, siguradong mata-type-an nya ito. He loves it pag punung-puno hanggang gilid ang mga pics and design. REAL NICCCEEE, LEE!

Thanks for your comments Jenn, Zabeth, Nita and Cabbie. I thought I won't make it, pero pinilit ko pa din even if DH was giving me the evil eye. I've never missed a Kaya kasi. Para na ba siyang panata. O di ba? Hahahaha.
