Quiet Arvos

Roxannee says, KAYA!

I've been using some odd things for stamping...though I have a few stamps in my stash, I still feel that using other bits and pieces as stamp gives a project it's uniqueness. For this challenge, I played around with a corrugated cardboard.

Who said quiet arvos are boring? I took some fun shots of us while waiting for Kuya's home time from school. I love these moments... just you and I...

Materials used:
dark blue textured card stock, Grant pp, corrugated card board, white paint, Prima flowers Tea & Silk collection, pearl stickers, buttons, embroidery floss, Hero Arts acrylic ticket stamps, Paper craft acrylic flower stamp, acetate, Tsukineko Brilliance Inks, Versa Mark ink, Versa Magic chalk ink, blue metal clip, Paper craft chipboard, clear embossing powder, Kaiser paint in antique white,
kindy Glitz, flower brads, Stabilo pen, journalling pad printed from Shabby Princess.

Techniques used:
paper tearing, stamping with corrugated card board and acrylic stamps, heat embossing, inking, stamp resist.

The process:
I painted the corrugated card board with white paint and stamped it on the card stock.
For the title, I painted raw chipboard with antique white paint. Once dried, I stamped flourishes on the chipboard using Versa Mark Ink. Then I heat embossed the stamped flourishes. I dabbed brilliance ink to give it colour. You will notice that the heat embossed areas resisted the ink.
The acetate flowers are made using acrylic stamps and black ink. Then I used brads for the centre. The ticket stubs are made with left over patterned paper and acrylic stamps.

About ME:
Hi I'm Roxannee and I love stamping to bits! I hope I gave this technique some justice with this layout.
