4/6 Queens

Marian says "KAYA"

I started out as a stamper before becoming a scrapbooker. So I decided I should do this challenge right away. These are photos of me with my "bilas". We are 6 Mrs. Kings and I am proud to say we are friends, travel buddies and sisters. I also have 6 other sisters-in-law all sisters of my husband. I am so lucky to be in this big family who I am sure love me.

Materials: Cardstock - Fabriano; flowers- Prima; Bling - Prima; Stickles; Chipboard - Fancy Pants; Radiant Rain; Glimmer Mist; Acrylic Gel Medium - Lefranc & Bougeous; Script stamp - Stampin Up; Crown stamp - Heidi Swapp; Frame stamp (stash); Slick Writer; American Craft Thickers; a big glass serving platter for the non-stamp item.

Technique: First I turned over the big serving platter and painted the gel medium over the bottom of the plate. I then lay the cardstock over the platter and patted it down so the gel medium would stick. I lifted it straight up, turned it over to dry (it dried clear so you can see the original color of the paper). The gel medium then acted as a mask. I sprayed various colors of Glimmer Mist and Radiant rain over the paper and wiped off the excess from the stamped image. I stamped the script onto the 2 big flowers.I also stamped 4 crowns over the Thickers Title. I stamped a frame stamp on a transparency and wrote the journalling there. The flourish chipboard was also sprayed with the Glimmer Mist and Radiant Rain.

About Me: I enjoy scrapping and stamping. I am always eager to learn new techniques.
