Be My Valentine

Alby says, KAYA!

I love stamping! So when I saw Bjay's challenge this month, I was quite excited to get started.

I already have photos of our Valentine's Day dinner printed so I decided to just use it for this challenve. For this layout, I used blue acrylic paint and fabric flowers to stamp on an orange cardstock. I also stamped on a border chipboard after applying a coat of blue acrylic paint.

A closer look at the stamped images:

I also added a hidden journaling because the story I wanted to tell doesn't fit in the exposed spaces.

Exposed Journaling:
Korea House Restaurant
Clark Freeport Zone,
Pampanga

Hidden Journaling:
This Valentine's Day, we found ourselves in a Korean Restaurant eating authentic, mouth-watering Korean food - except for the Ebi Tempura (a Japanese dish!) which turned out to be quite disappointing. Nonetheless, we had a great time with Ian, Karen and Yana.

For the record, we did plan to eat in a Japanese Restaurant, but it was late and the place was full so we didn't have much choice but to go to the nearest restaurant with tables to spare.

Materials:
Cardstock - Bazzil; Patterned Papers - SassafrasLass and Collage Press; Chipboard frame - Sassafras Lass; Chipboard Border - Maya Road; Rub-On - American Crafts; Rip Strips - Studio Calico; Cardstock Sticker Labels - Scenic Route; Alpha Chipboard - AC Thickers; Alpha Stickers - Making Memories; Fowers - Prima; Paint - Claudine Helmuth Studio and Making Memories; Clear Stamp - Hampton Art (Danelle Johnson Art Warehouse); Ink - VersaFine and VersaMagic; Others - Ribbon and Button

About Me:

I'm Alby and I've been scrapping for 3 years now. I'm mainly a traditional scrapper but I sometimes do digital layouts. Scrapping is my creative work out and I love it (if I can only lose weight through scrapping, I will do it more often!). I am blessed to have the love and support of my hubby who is almost always featured in my layouts. Check out my blog for more boring details about me and to see some of my work.

Thanks ladies.

Bjay, now that you mentioned it, oo nga no! Hawig dun sa TI na paper - I have that, the green one with pink flowers (or is that a shade of purple?).

I'm just happy I'm done with this month's challenge, kahit di ako umabot sa first 5. Hehe. :D
