Queer Eye Cuties

Dinah says, KAYA!

This is my first time to join the Kaya Challenge. I was hesitant at first because I rarely stamp. Why? Because I don't clean up well. And besides, why would I want to get those pretty stamps dirty? But I decided to give it a shot (and so the challenge for me was the clean up). So here.

I've had this photo for about a couple of years already. I was having lunch with my girlfriends when two of the "Queer Eye For The Straight Guy" cuties walked by us. And as if on cue, we all got up from our seats and shamelessly forced ourselves on them for a photo (which by the way was taken from a cellphone with not-so-good resolution hence the blurry result).

Journaling:
Ambush photo op with Kyan Douglas and Thom Filicia of the Fab 5. M Cafe, Greenbelt, 2005.

Materials:
DCWV cs, Chatterbox & Fontwerks pps, AC thickers alpha, MM journal sheet, Buzz&Bloom chipboard, Fany Pants butterfly stamp, Glimmer Mist, Shrink Film, Ranger crackle paint, Stazon & Colorbox inks, Marvy Uchida markers, Zig pen, Misc corrugated paper.

Techniques Used:
Non-stamp - Corrugated paper with ranger crackle paint
Stamp - Fancy Pants stamped on shrink film, colored with Marvy markers before shrinking

I love the fab 5, dayns! :)

the blurred pix isn't an issue. I swear your LO looks even better in "person!"

thanks for taking up your self-imposed challenge of cleaning up after stamping :)

Lovely LO.What a great way to use leftover strips of patterned paper.

Ingenious, Dinah! Despite what you claim to be a bad photo taken from a cellphone camera, your LO still brought out the essence of scrapping, to capture memorable moments like this!
