jologs

Marix says, KAYA!

A few days before the challenge was posted, I just finished an LO that fits the bill, layering. I thought of posting it but with all my backlogs I decided to create a new LO and as Kaya says, creating an LO is a reward on its own. So here's my attempt. Just a little tribute to my barkada here in Singapore, who have been with me through laughters and trials living away from home.

Journaling:
time together, someone to lean on, the silly things we did, the trouble we got into, for this I am grateful

Materials used:
PP: Love, Elsie, American Crafts (base), We R Memory Keepers (pinwheel cutout); Stickers - 7 Gypsies, Love Elsie; May Arts ribbons; American Crafts thickers; brads, jewels, markers, paper clip

Techniques/Process:
Layering, machine stitching

About ME:
Hi! I'm Marix, single and currently working as a Systems Analyst in Singapore. I've been scrapbooking since highschool but never knew such a term ever existed. Back then I've been using magazines to cut out titles and images and used the magnetic albums which sadly are all not acid free. I only discovered the term scrapbooking and acid free in 2004 and have been doing it since then. It was on and off until I became addicted to it last year. I scraplift, use sketches and find inspiration through advertisements. I'm a traditional scrapper and haven't tried digital yet. I consider myself as a free style scrapper who loves embellishments and texture in a layout. You can view my other layouts at http://scrappalific.blogspot.com/
