Nina says, KAYA!
Whenever I think of the roads I could have travelled, I don't really have much regret since I know I am where I need to be, as God's will. But what's harder to face are other people's comments and questions, like, "Ay, sayang, ba't hindi ka na nag-wo-work?" or "Bakit hindi mo tinapos Master's mo?"
My only response is, "Tapos na yun. Masaya na ako where I am."
I "borrowed" my title from the book of the same name but haven't read it yet.
Journaling:
I always thought my life would go in a straight line. Since I was young, I always knew I wanted to be a writer. But after failing to get my Master's degree and quitting my job to become a stay-at-home mom, I realize everything is really in God's hands and He knows what's best.
Materials:
Patterned paper - American Crafts, Pink Paislee, KI Memories, Love Elsie, Basic Grey; transparent butterfly mini-book page - Maya Road; chipboard letters - Heidi Swapp; journaling die-cut - Jenni Bowlin; pen - American Crafts Slick Writer; others - acrylic paint, cardstock, decorative tape.
Techniques:
Collage, layering, painting, used a butterfly punch to create accents and a border punch for edges.
About ME:
30 years old, stay-at-home mom soon to be homeschooler, writer, scrapbooker/altered art artist wannabe.

What a very beautiful LO Nina! I love the tree! Galing galing!
Wow. In true Nina style, your LO is really breathtaking. Love the layering of so many elements, and the painting over the photos! totally love that, parang naka Photoshop yung pics :-)
It doesn't matter what others think or say, what matters most if that you are happy where you are. I admire you for that and allowing "U turns" in your life. After all if life was straight as an arrow, it would probably be boring right :-)
Thanks for joining Nina! Inspiring as always and you definitely do NOT dissapoint :-)

hi nina,
love your take on the sketch and what you wrote down is so true. TFS!
p.s. I'm a homeschooling mom and just want to say that if God gives you the opportunity to do it... Go for it! Mahirap talaga pero sobrang sulit.
Nina, you're so goooood in making collages!
WOW Nina! Your page looks so artsy! Love how you combined those colors and patterns!
Hi Nina, hope you are well in Taiwan. Wala ako masabi - this is the Nina-LO I always look forward to seeing. It's not the usual fare and you make it work! Artsy talaga ang dating.
