You can thank your stars all you want to...

Nina says, KAYA!

I've been obsessing about this song for a while now. And I definitely knew I wanted to make it into a layout for AR. Thanks so much, Marissa, for finally inspiring me to make it.

Here's a link to the song by Rico Blanco: Your Universe.

I used some of the lyrics of the song that capture why I love this song and how it also captures how I feel for AR. Happy Heart's Month, everyone!

Journaling:
You can thank your stars all you want to but I'll always be the lucky one
Tell me something when I'm feeling tired and afraid
How do you know just what to say to make everything alright
Tell me something when I'm about to lose control
How do you patiently hold my hand and gently calm me down
You hold me like I'm the one who's precious
I hate to break it to you but it's just the other way around

Supplies:
patterned paper - American Crafts, Glitz Designs, Prima, Sassafrass Lass, Dove of the East; tag - Foofala; alphabet stamps, date stamp - National Bookstore; embroidery thread; white pen; ink - Staz On, Colorbox.

Technique:
sewed stars, doodled on photo, stamped title and journaling

About ME:
stay-at-home mom, homeschooler, scrapbooker

Nina, I love the stars. Bakit di ko naiisip ang mga ganyan? Pag sinabing stitching, stitching talaga to attach something to something. I would never have thought of making stars using a thread and needle. Toink!
