Italian Lemon Soda

Christine says, KAYA!

Journalling:
In all this time that I've been going to Bacolod, I just recently discovered a drink I can always look forward to whenever I visit. Dec 2006, Bob's Cafe.

Materials Used:
Bazzill bling CS, CBX pp, WRMK ribbon, Gin-X coaster, Zig marker, Fontwerks stamp, Versa ink

Techniques:
Tearing, Stamping

About ME:

I am married, with 2 kids - DD 7 and DS 4. I am a part-time lecturer on restaurant operations. I have been scrapping on and off since 1984 using non-archival safe products (because I thought the acid-free stuff around that time looked cheesy, haha). I converted to the "other side" in 2006 when I saw gorgeous acid-free papers and other supplies. I've also dabbled in other crafts such as cross-stitching and candle-making. Hi Christine. In the stark simplicity of your background, the eyes go directly to the drink. So much so that I want to reach out and grab it. And as if the focal point was not enough, that arrow thingy makes sure that my eyes gravitate to that cold, refreshing, delicious drink. (Excuse me while I haul my b**t to the nearest Starbucks.)

Christine, so far your LO is on the top of my list :-) The photo really stands out and the choice of the elements is simple yet complements each other well. Can't wait for the next challenge to see what you come up with next :-)

christiiiiine! love your simple scrapping here!...am trying to go simple these days kasi--yung maraming blank space. i think ibang challenge din yun especially for me who can't stand spaces. but letting space be while effectively putting your message forth is a good lesson in control(as in self-control)so dapat ko yan matutunan e.

i am going crazy looking for that stamp, too!...finally found it! Fontwerks pala! i love it! san mo binili yan ha? wag mo sabihin sa ATRS na naman ha...last time you pointed me there, ang laki ng disgrasya ko! hahaha.... :-D

Hi Christine,

Me too, this is my first choice. Love what you did to this layout. It's just so striking! I love everything about it! :-)

And yes, this is your style. :-) Kung wala pang name, let me think of a name. :-)

Keep it up!

Thank you very much, ladies! You're making me smile from ear to ear :)

Haha, Au! Palagi din malaki ang disgrasya ko pag stamps ang nakikita ko!!! Hahahaha! No, I didn't get this stamp from ATRS. This one's from the Fontwerks site. Happy shopping! :)

I really like the simplicity of this layout. I cannot create a simple to save my life, but I really love the look. LOL.
