Relax

Jenn says, KAYA!

After a few tries, I was able to download the kit. Lotsa thanks to Diane who made this challenge come to life, and to Danielle Young for providing the kit for us to use.
Our computer still cannot recognize the Photoshop CS2 disc so I feared Imight not be able to submit a layout for the challenge, but my brother, who also tries to do simple digital scrapbooking, said Microsoft Visio can read .png files and I can merge all elements as well as save it as .jpg, so thankful that I can join this month's challenge. This layout may be very simple (Visio can't do compilcated photo editing like the way Photoshop does), but through this I had more respect to the digital scrapbookers - it really wasn't that easy, but I do agree that digital scrapbooking can be so addicting. I love that I can hit the "redo" button everytime I misplaced an element - something a bit impossible to do with traditional. So here it is, my layout:

Journal Reads:
"After nine long years, I was able to set foot in Bolinao, Pangasinan again. I, together with my family primarily went there to visit ailing grandpa, but on this particular day, we went out to enjoy the magnificent views. It was a great way to relax and seeing God's creations was pure bliss. I cannot wait to be back here again. Macanlaoan Beach, 04 November 2007"
Materials Used:
Font - NevisonCasD and Kindergarten
Alphabets - Erica Hernandez for Two Peas in a Bucket
All Else - Springtime Feeling Kit by Danielle Young

About ME:
A 27-year old lady who has been into crafts since high school but just officially dived into real scrapbooking September of 2006. Even though I think I am probably the poorest of all the scrapbookers here in the Philippines, I don't see financial constraints as hindrance for me to create layouts about my life’s memories. Actually, with the very few materials that I have, I am now doing my fourth album. Style wise, I love to do multiple pictures in my layouts, and as much as possible, I want to put as much memories from a life’s event into one layout. Aside from scrapbooking, I am also into cross-stitching, card making (though I only create cards for select people), and altering boxes to accommodate my knick-knacks and old letters from friends. To know more of me and my scrapbooking, please check my blog at: http://janu-jenn.blogspot.com/

Great job, Jenn! and to think it was done with a different program! I like how you used the frame to bring focus to your picture and the beautiful view in the background.

Hi Jenn. I love how you were able to make the LO "nature like" considering the kit really looked quite girly with the bright pink paper and flower embellies. Great choice of the papers for your LO.

Loved everything the kit matches your nature style. While reading your journal I feels like wanting to go that place too. TFS. Great job!
