You Are My Sunshine

Alby says, KAYA!

The moment I saw the digital kit, I already knew which pictures will go with it. I love the colors and the patterns! Thanks Diane for the challenge and for making it possible for us to work with a digital kit.

Journaling:
Trying to catch a bit of sunshine just before we say goodbye to summer.
(Honey Beach, Lobo, Batangas - May 2006)

Supplies Used:
Springtime Feelings Kit by Danielle Young; Adobe CS2; FG Ester and Rosewood Std fonts.

Techniques Used:
No complicated techniques here - I cropped and layered. I added drop shadows. The torn paper look - well, I erased and used a pen to add the white portion. I'm sure there's an easier way to do it but I have yet to learn.

About Me:
Hi I'm Alby! I'm married to my very supportive hubby, Ariel, who is also my number one fan in scrapping. Been scrapping since 2005 but only got to know about acid-free scrapping since last year. I love scrapping because it helps me showcase my photos creatively. It is my stress buster and my "me time". Lately, I've tried a bit of painting on some of my layouts and I enjoy it a lot. I'll try to incorporate a bit of painting in my future layouts. You may see some of my work at my blog.
