Cutie Patootie

Marissa says, KAYA! again.

I chose Ysabella to be my model for this LO. She is the youngest Ibarra family member. She is my sister Josephine's first grandchild. I chose the color orange so that when Ysabella grows up and sees this picture and asks what color her outfit is, anyone who will get to answer that question will say it was an orange and white jumper. Thank you for looking.

Journaling Reads:
Ysabella - what a cutie! I
hope to meet you while you’re
still in your baby years. Your
mom wasn’t even in her teens
the last time I saw her. So don’t
be in a hurry growing up!

Supplies Used:
MarieStones gel alpha; BethNixon - ShabbyBlooms torn mat; AmberClegg - Charmed wings recolored orange; Font: Tekton

Technique Used:
I created the black background using a photoshop texture to make it look like cardstock; recolored the gel alpha from blue to orange; turned the torn mat to grayscale; recolored the butterfly and swirls from black and white to orange.

About ME:
I just can't stay away from digital scrapbooking! It gives me more freedom to choose the style, color, size, and supplies. I've been digi-scrapping like forever, it seems, but there are still a lot of things to learn. I am still discovering new techniques and shortcuts when using Photoshop.

After reading everybody else's comments, it just dawned on me that this, indeed, is a baby page! Haha! I didn't realize it when I was looking at your LO because you managed to make the colors and design work for the baby photos. Lovely page!
