Optimist

Marian says, KAYA!

I chose pink because I like it. Its also a happy/positive color. "In the pink" conveys a feeling of happiness/well-being.

Journaling under the circle with M monogram:
We are going through tough times right now with your health and yet I see blessings through all of this. I believe they are signs of better days ahead. I still believe through God's mercy everything will be fine soon.

Materials Used:
Black, white cardstock Bazzill, Pink cardstock SEI, Cuttlebug flower dies and coluzzle circle template. Photo by Ernie Rubia

About ME:

I am Marian King and have been a member of PS for a while now but usually in lurker mode. So glad for the PS Blog challenge. It's an opportunity to finish an LO. I am married and have two daughters and one grand-daughter. My daughters enjoy scrapbooking with me when they have the time. I am trying to learn digital scrapbooking using Photoshop Elements although I enjoy the feel and look of real paper and embellishments more. I have always enjoyed crafts - from baking, cake decorating, paper mache, cross stitch, beading, candle making, making hair accessories, stamping, cardmaking and scrapbooking. I also want to learn to use a sewing machine so I can make throw pillows and baby dresses. You can view some of my LOs at www.making.multiply.com.

Oh wow, makes me want to scraplift it - hehehe. Wala lang ako nung die mo for the flowers (pinagbalakan nga talaga - hahaha). I love your picture, it truly resonates the title. And the overall LO makes me think of the words 'pink of health'. Beautiful execution indeed :D

Simply elegant! I was wondering if the white flower border are punched out of a black strip of paper, thus showing the white paper behind it? I love your style, Ms. M.

And I do pray whatever it is you're going through right now, may everything go well in the end! God bless!
