life's little treasure

Cabbie says, KAYA!

i have 4 kids but you might notice why it is always Aetom (my 3rd son) on my layouts, it's because he loves to pose! with the 3, you still have to lure them...anyway, this layout was taken on the summer of 2007. our treasures are our children, no matter how hard it is to take care of them, there is always a feeling of satisfaction at the end of the day.

journaling:
i love to spend my vacation in batangas. aetom. summer 2007

materials used:
we r memory keepers dipstick; lil davis chipboard and stamp (crillon); queen n co. brad; fancy pants chipboard; mm foam stamps; paper salon & heidi grace rubber stamps. ek stickers; swarovski crystals; daisy d's ppr.

techniques used:
1. i used heidi grace stamps on the chipboard and handmade cardstock-ed flower.
2. painted the frame with lil davis acrylic, used various doodle stamps (paper salon) and embossed.
3. flower foam stamp was used, doodled and accented with a brad.
4. handmade flower with stamp and crystals.
5. chipboard glazed and stamped.

about me:
i am a stay at home mom to 4 energetic boys. i love the arts and books. scrapbooking has made my life filled with happiness and appreciation. aside from layouts, i love to alter anything! what i discovered with scrapbooking is not only the creativity that has been raked out of my system but most of all, for the friendship i had incurred for the past 12 months.

Cabbie, ang daming stamping sa LO na ito. Inisa-isa ko talaga. Teach me naman how to do that frame with all the stamping and embossing. Parang pag ako ang gumawa nun, walang design na lalabas. Puro stamp marks lang.

Jane, natawa ako dun sa kuwento mo na si Aetom lang ang mahilig mag-pose.

Hay naku, is there anything that you can't do?? This is another work of art! Love all the stamping you did on this one!

Eto ang LO na cool na cool. In fact, simple scrapbooking ang dating. Pero juice me, pag iniisa isa mo ang mga elements, dun mo makikita ang pagiging detalyado ni Cabbie. By the time I finished deconstructing this LO, I have a new-found admiration for you, Cabs. Iba ka talaga... paturo naman! :D

Great LO, Cabbie! Well balanced on the page. You've shown me that flowers and bows look good on a boy's LO, too! Now I can perk up my son's pages!
