3 Big Rocks

Julie says, KAYA!

Stephen Covey's "Big Rocks" (First Things First) inspired me (you may know him as the author of The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People.) As I start the new year, I think of the "big rocks" in my life. These are the things I can do to make this a healthier and happier year for my family. When this challenge came, I realized there was not one rock that was for me solely.

I am throwing in 3 more big rocks into my life bucket:

1. This LO, the opening page to an All About Me album, is my first big rock. After all, this is all about my favorite hobby. My wish is to continue adding more scrapbook pages, learning new techniques, taking more “selfie” photos (all my photos show children clinging on to me like an appendage)

2. This was a photo of me (notice my cropped ‘appendage’?) in an exotic island, where my husband and kids took me on my birthday. Clear blue skies, hot climate, warm, white beaches, mangoes, livestock fighting for right of way in the streets, books and lots of naps.

The background paper design resembles New York City (or London, or Paris). I love New York for the shopping, shows on broadway, fine dining at Lespinasse. I wish to go there with my 2 best friends again for a girls’ weekend.

My 2nd big rock is to visit the 2 places I love the most: a tropical, exotic island, and New York City.

3. My 3rd big rock is literally made of rocks and flowers. I wish for sunshine and flowers. I am home all day, so I see my yard all the time. When the weather gets warmer, I wish to relandscape my garden, plant flowers, and fill my home with them.

Oooh, was going to comment on interesting choice of materials. Yun pala astig naman kasi Bad Girls kit sya! Hehe. Pero, still, love how you combined the materials! I would never have thought of combining those materials together but you made it work! You rocked that kit! =)

I love your wishes and noticed that even though birthday mo, you barely have a nice birthday photo. I can so totally relate. Hehe.

Pero you shouldn't have a problem of having selfie photos kasi gorgeous ka naman, Julie. Ako kasi kelangan muna to lose the 30 lbs! Hehe.

Wishing you all the best and hope those wonderful wishes come true! =)

...and I also wish to finish painting that paintable:-) haha. Obviously, I painted on one side and decided that will do it for now (for the sake of art and time, I think it looks good one sided).

I enjoyed making this LO, for sure.

Thank you, Nina!!!! But I am really not gorgeous, and I am very camera shy - a very bad combination:-)
