Focus on Just 3 Wishes

Lee says, KAYA!

If I had to write down all my heart's wishes for myself and for those I love, I would need to make a spread. LOL. But in keeping with the challenge's requirements, I focus on just three wishes that I am praying and hoping will happen this year. My wishes need another party or a higher power for them to come true so that makes them more challenging. I do what I can to make them happen, a crucial step I believe, now if I could just influence the universe to make things come my way. Wish me luck! :-)

Journaling:
To be published in a widely circulated magazine.
To receive an international scholarship or fellowship.
To win in the Philippine Lotto and be mortgage-free.

Materials Used:
Jenni Bowlin PPS; Scenic Route, Craft Express, Heidi Swapp chipboards; Oriental Trading Company wood tiles; Brenda Walton acrylic stamps; Colorbox chalk ink; black UTEE and sepia Ranger Glossy Accents; Darice foam; UHU glue; Adobe Photoshop CS and Bell font.

Procedure:
The photo is blurry (my 6 year old took it inside the house) but I decided to work with it to show that while life happens so fast it can be a blur, you just gotta focus. I used Adobe CS to convert it into black and white and the burn tool to darken the edges. I just got a new Chestnut Roan inkpad so I inked all the edges alot.

About ME:
I'm Lee, mother to three KiDS and wife to a visual artist who gives me free, sometimes unsolicited advise regarding my layouts. Sometimes I take them, often times, not. Hehe. I have been scrapping since May 2006. I am still happily exploring and experimenting in this hobby, whch combines my love for writing, photography and wielding scissors. You can read more about me and my scrapbooking misadventures at www.pinayscrapper.blogspot.com.

Hi Lee, bagay na bagay ang pic sa title na 'focus', you look like you really are "FOCUSED" on those wishes coming true.

Good luck to us, may our wishes come true!

Lee! grabe mesmerized ako sa LO mo, simple but stunning! o dba involved pa ang DH mo sa making ng LO na to, even the photo galing ng effect and who would have thought it was taken by a 6yr old. Meaningful wishes, I hope all of them will be granted.

Hi Lee. I like getting messy with clay:-) First, the photographs you took of your LO look very professional. I am very impressed with the title - love the 3d look; and overall, it turned out looking so perfect.
