Christine says, KAYA!
Uhm, pretty challenging challenge! Haha! No patterned papers, no embellishments, no inking/stamping, no nothing! Ack! So Tuesday, 2 October, while I was having my lunch break, I tried to think about something that might actually work and I ended up sketching on the back of my lunch receipt. I had to attend to several other matters in the last couple of days so I was only able to execute my plan today. whew! thank goodness I can now say, KAYA! =)
Journaling:
for now... & always
Materials Used:
CS: Bazzill; Markers: Sharpie and Zig; Colored Pencil: EK Success
Techniques Used:
Traced around a flower (which I found on the island. cool! it looks exactly like Heidi Swapp's flowers! :)) - and colored it in with a colored pencil
About ME:
Married, with 2 kids - DD 7 and DS 4, part-time lecturer on restaurant operations. I have been scrapping on and off since 1984 using non-archival safe products (because I thought the acid-free stuff around that time looked cheesy, haha). I converted to the "other side" in 2006 when I saw gorgeous acid-free papers and other supplies. I've also dabbled in other crafts such as cross-stitching and candle-making. Oh wow! You're good, girl! I like how you did the sketch, and executed it and it looks like you are having a lot of fun doing it. It turned out to be quite perfect!
