Nanay and Me

Roxannee says, KAYA!

It took me a while to have an idea for this challenge....yes, I've got pictures but which? I got papers but what to do with them? Drawing? Maybe not ....my drawing skills are a bit rusty... Then I stumbled upon this picture of nanay and me when she came for a visit, and I reckon flowers would suit the two of us (can't put much flowers on my sons' LO's- finally I made a girly one, yes!!!!)...so here it is...

Journaling reads:
PINNACLES Desert
Nambung National Park, WA
.19th April 2007.

It was a beautiful Autumn day...
Her breath was taken away
By the sight of the limestone formations
Just one of God's wonderful creations.
Wherever she looked,
North, South, East or West
All she could say was:
"Ang ganda.....ang ganda....."

Materials used:
Grant Neutrals card stock (red, yellow, white, light green); Kraft Stuff card stock (forest and beige); Scotch acid free glue; Artline Permanent marker; Journaling pens (fine and 0.1).

Techniques used:
Quilling and folding

About ME:
Hi. I'm Roxannee, Mom to 2 gorgeous boys aged 6 and 8 months who make me feel like growing 10 more pairs of hands...got into scrapping after baby number 2. I'm also into cake decoration and card making.

thanks ms.au yung anak ko nga tinatawag akong nanay para pilipino daw, mejo ayoko nakakailang kc sk yun na tawag nya sa lola nya e baka 2 pa kaming lumingon...cheers

ei marj dapat nga gumamit ako ng quilling tool kaso hindi nasagip sa pampang at sakA bawal yata gumamit nun. kaya i spent ages to soften it para mag roll ng maganda, if you only knew kung ilang papel nasayang ko jan!!!

Hello Roxannee. wow, you did a great job, too - very crafty, and so pretty. I like how you did the title, and the title itself is very catchy.

Regards,
Julie

Nabitin ako sa liit ng litrato. I wanted to see it more closed up. Unang kita ko sa LO sabiko "sugar-honey-iced-tea! Ganda ng font nya!" Tapos pagtingin ko sa ibaba, "ay naloka akoh! Paano nya ginawa yan?!" Galing mo gumawa ng mga pakulot-kulot dyan. Saludo ako sa iyo sistah! :D
