Bliss

Ching says, KAYA!

This is my wedding ceremony held in Michigan, USA, a decade ago. It was a beautiful Fall day in October which allowed the Minister to conduct the ceremony outside.

Journaling:
There are many participants in this wedding, but only two, the Bride and the Groom take center stage. The Maid of Honor. the Best man, the Brides maids and Grooms and even the Minister got plenty of attention, but the Bride and Groom out-shown even the beautiful lake background. That’s because these two didn’t have all the answers in life but, they were willing to take a risk together and let their love for each other guide them in the future.

Materials Used:
Me & My Big Ideas flocked pattern paper, Creating Keepsakes pattern paper, Colorbok chipboard, Making Memories brads, Archival ink (sepia), Paper Pizazz vellum and words ephemera, glitter glue, Fiskars hole puncher, Scotch double sided tape, Ribbons, Fibers

Techniques:
First, cut 7” x 8” dotted paper, tear the edges and then crumple and tap ink pad. Next, adhere to the right hand side of the base flocked paper, attach 4’ x 6’ photo on the middle; decorate with fibers and ribbons with brads. (Crumple and ink the cut words paper and adhere to the oblong shaped chipboard and trim the sides, then punch a hole on both sides. Tear the sides of the other words paper and tap ink pad. Sprinkle glitter glue on the heart chipboard and punch a hole on the left upper side and attach string). Attach the “bliss” title with brads and tie the heart on the right side brad. Adhere the other words paper. Print the journaling on the vellum paper, tear and ink the sides, then attach on the bottom left hand side with brads.

About ME:
My name is Ching, a SAHM to a 16 year old son, married to a wonderful man. We live on the southeast coast of USA. I started scrapbooking in 2004, but like most, I have more supplies than pages, done. I eagerly begun scrapping again when I joined the PinoySrapbookers group on January 2008 and quickly did some albums of layouts for my family. I love to make double layouts with 2 to 4 photos each.
