Nina says, KAYA!
Marj, I am so loving your challenges! I'm getting to try techniques I've been wanting to try for ages. Salamat!
I've been wanting to try these distressed paper flowers for so long. Then I found this photo of my lola and kuya and everything flowed from there.
Journaling reads:
Mama and Robert circa 1972 in front of John Hancock Bldg. Chicago
Materials:
cardstock - Fabriano, Fiskars; paper - 7Gypsies, K&Co; bingo card - Jenni Bowlin; brads - Making Memories; letter stickers - Heidi Swapp; others - photo corners, rubber stamp, embossing powder, pen.
Techniques:
Used Heidi Swapp edge distresser on all edges. Crumpled circles of paper and stacked them under a brad. Tore patterned paper for photo mat.

Nina, the paper-tearing flowers are so pretty! I also love your style of distancing the journaling from the rest of the elements. :)
