Fall Harvest

Ching says, KAYA!
The two pictures depict the harvest season in the State of Michigan. The sun shown brightly, but it was still a chilly day. My family and friends discovered the glorious colors, as well as, the bountiful fruits of nature.

Journaling:
Just go out to a Cider Mill on a brisk, fall day and you’ll see what makes everyone’s fall season happier. When you get tired and cold from checking out hundreds of pumpkins, for just the right one, you’ll find yourself and the whole group, chomping down on bratwurst sandwiches and hot apple cider. Finally, you’ll spot the ideal pumpkin and grab a bushel of apples and go home, feeling all the better, for such an exhilarating experience.

Materials Used:
DCWV pattern papers, The paper Company cardstocks and vellum, Me & My Big Ideas die-cut brown leaf, Colorbok die-cut letters,Making Memories brads, Color Box primary pigment stamp pad, Scotch double sided tape and glue stick, Xyron create a sticker,
X-acto knife, Fiber
Techniques:
- Crumpled and smoothed the orange paper, then rubbed an ink over the creases
to soften and age the paper.
- Tripled matted the two photos and tore the edges and tucked them behind the
cut and lifted leaves.
- Used vellum for journaling and decorated fibers on both sides and used brads
to secure the fiber.
- Inked the die-cut letters title “ FALL HARVEST” ; glued them on embossed
squared pieces of paper, then glued the title on vellum, tore the edges
and finally, adhered on top of page.

About ME:
My name is Ching, a SAHM to a 16 year old son, married to a wonderful man. We live on the southeast coast of USA. I started scrapbooking in 2004, but like most, I have more supplies than pages, done. I eagerly begun scrapping again when I joined the PinoySrapbookers group on January 2008 and quickly did some albums of layouts for my family. I love to make double layouts with 2 to 4 photos each.
